Charges Expected Over 'Disturbing Incident' On Norman North Bus

A Norman police spokesperson tells News 9 that they hope to present charges to the district attorney, after investigating a “disturbing incident” on a Norman North bus.

Claims of a sexual assault on the bus initially got police investigating. So far, the school has dismissed one coach and suspended another along with some students. 

The district told News 9 the incident involved wrestlers from Norman North as they were returning home from a weekend tournament.

“The investigation is ongoing and we hope to be able to present charges to the DA next week,” said Norman Police spokesperson, Sarah Jensen.

Norman police said a report was made Monday night. The district said it learned of the allegation Tuesday morning.
