A federal judge rejected an Oklahoma native's request to be removed from the no-fly list.
Saadiq Long's attorney told News 9 that the judge declined to intervene on an emergency basis.
Long is a U.S. Air Force veteran and is being held in Turkey after his passport was flagged at the border with Syria.
Long, of McAlester, said the list is unconstitutional.
"We're disappointed and the families are planning on how to proceed in light of the ruling," Long's attorney said.
