Teenager Dies After Accident In NW OKC

A 15-year-old is dead after a car crash overnight in the Quail Creek neighborhood in northwest Oklahoma City.

It appears the teenager may have struck a tree around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. The teenager was identified as Will Harris by police Monday morning.

Sunday afternoon, friends of the victim placed flowers at the site of the crash.

They told News 9 he was a student at Heritage Hall.

"Will Harris, son of Glenn and Susie Harris, died tragically in an automobile accident in Quail Creek. We are profoundly saddened by this loss to our school and community. We are making every effort to facilitate the healing process, student by student, day by day," Heritage Hall officials said in a statement Monday.
