Silver Alert Canceled; Missing El Reno Woman Found Safe

The El Reno Police Department has canceled a Silver Alert after a missing 54-year-old woman was found safe. 

Melissa Miller had been reported missing since 8:00 a.m. Thursday. Police said early Friday morning, she returned to the Shepard Manor Residential Care Home, at 2408 Sunset Drive in El Reno. 

Miller is schizophrenic and is in need of her medication.

Residents at Shepard Manor said before Miller went missing, she had been talking about cashing a check in Weatherford, Oklahoma, where she last lived.
