Crews Respond To Multi-Vehicle Crash In SW OKC

First responders are on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on the southwest side of the metro.

Emergency crews were called out to the scene on S. Portland Ave., just to the south of Interstate 40, a little after 4:30 p.m.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash and News 9 is told one person had to be extricated from a their vehicle. That person was then transported from the scene via ambulance in critical condition. 

A second person was also transported from the scene, but that person's condition is not known. 

Authorities have shut down Portland Ave. in both directions while crews work the scene. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
