Police Investigate After Man Found Dead In SW OKC

Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead in southwest Oklahoma City, early Monday morning.

According to police, just before 3 a.m., a man, later identified as 35-year-old Jesus Vasquez, was found lying next to a running car in the parking lot of a bar on Newcastle Road near S.W. 29th street. He had serious trauma on his body consistent with homicide.

Vasquez was pronounced dead at the scene. 

This is Oklahoma City's 49th homicide of 2015, according to police. No arrests have been made.
