A woman suspected of driving under the influence of drugs reportedly drove around a “Road Closed” sign and rolled her vehicle in Jones, Oklahoma, Thursday morning.
According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's office, at about 6 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a crash at N.E. Wilshire and N. Triple X Road. Construction crew members found a car that had rolled after hitting some construction boulders.
Deputies found a woman sitting inside the car. The woman had driven around a "Road Closed" sign, struck some large rocks and rolled her vehicle, deputies said.
After speaking with her, deputies determined that she was driving under the influence of prescription drugs (pain killers.)
Jones Police Department had also investigated a crash they believed the woman caused prior to the roll-over crash.
The woman was transported to the hospital to be checked out, and the deputy will present a charge of driving under the influence of drugs.
