Quintin's older sister, Valerie Wood-Harber, fought for an investigation into his death. Although Quintin died of pneumonia, Valerie said it was because of neglect.
In January of 2014, Valerie started a petition to urge Oklahoma's Governor Mary Fallin to call for an investigation.
Quintin was special needs, he had ring 9 chromosome. He was not getting the care he needed from his father. Instead, the responsibility was given to his 14-year-old brother Cameron.
Valerie tried to report her brothers neglect on different occasions to both DHS and the boys schools, but no one checked until it was too late.
