NBA Rescinds Westbrook's 16th Technical

So you're saying there's a chance?

A day after receiving his 16th technical foul late in the 4th quarter against the Indiana Pacers, the NBA rescinded the call and Russell Westbrook will be in the lineup for Monday night's all-important matchup against the Portland Trailblazers.

The NBA decided to overturn the call after any official review from the league office on Monday morning.

Westbrook was whistled for the Technical after arguing a foul call late in the road loss to the Pacers. If upheld, Westbrook would have been suspended one game; a result which would have likely dashed any of the ever-fading hope the Thunder have of reaching the post season.

Oklahoma City remains tied with New Orleans for the eighth spot in this year's playoffs. New Orleans, however, owns the tie breaker against OKC, so the Thunder will need to win out and hope the Pelicans drop one more to advance to a playoff series against one-seeded Golden State.
