One woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a car in northwest Oklahoma City, Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred near the intersection of NW 63rd St. and May Ave.
According to police, the woman and her mother were stopped at a red light at NW 64rd St. and N. May Ave. when she got out of the car to go to the restroom.
The woman ran south across NW 63rd St. to a convenience store when a driver heading eastbound from May Ave. struck her.
The woman, who has not yet been identified, was transported from the scene by ambulance in critical condition. She is expected to survive, according to police. The driver of the car was not injured.
Police shut down the eastbound lanes of NW 63rd St. while crews worked the scene.
