Three earthquakes hit Medford, Okla., in Garfield County, Saturday morning.
The first, a 3.7 magnitude quake struck at approximately 10:39 a.m.
Its epicenter was located 16 miles south southeast of Medford, 19 miles northeast of Enid, and 31 miles west southwest of Ponca City at a depth of just over a mile.
Then at approximately 11:13 a.m., a 3.1 magnitude was recorded near the same area.
The third, a 3.6 magnitude earthquake struck at 11:23 a.m.
The fourth, a 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck at 1:52 p.m.
The epicenter for all of the earthquakes has been located in the same area as the first.
No injuries or damages associated with the earthquakes have been reported.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
