A police chase ended in Oklahoma City after authorities pulled a ‘pit maneuver' to stop the stolen vehicle, but not before the driver of the stolen vehicle crashed into a parked car, according to Lt. Kevin Parton with the Oklahoma City Police Department.
The chase began as a traffic stop around 6:40 p.m. The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Oklahoma City Police Department teamed up during the chase.
Sheriff's deputies stopped the vehicle after the 15-minute pursuit near S.W. 65th Street and McKinley. The driver and the passenger were taken into custody. The female passenger was taken to get treatment for minor injuries to a local hospital. Both were booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.
