The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Department said two people were arrested on multiple drug complaints earlier this month. A deputy patrolling Stockyards City on Dec. 11 said he noticed suspicious activity in the parking lot of a post office at S.W. 9th Street and S. Agnew Avenue. When the deputy walked up to the car, he said could immediately smell a strong odor of marijuana.
Amanda Jones, 34, was driving the car and Christopher Brumfield, 39 was her passenger. Both were arrested after the deputy said he found marijuana, methamphetamine, digital scales, a pistol, a stolen driver license and social security card and more than $600.
Jones was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on complaints of driving with a suspended license, trafficking illegal drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug proceeds, maintaining a place where drugs are kept, possession of drugs without a valid prescription, possession of stolen property, possession of a weapon while committing a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia and drugs.
Her bond was set at $59,500.
Brumfield was booked on complaints of drug and drug paraphernalia, trafficking cocaine base, possession of marijuana and drug proceeds, maintaining a place where drugs are kept, possession of drugs without a prescription and stolen property, possession of a weapon while committing a felony and a firearm after former felony conviction.
His bond was set at $62,500.
