Authorities: Truck Leaking Tar On Turner Turnpike Near Luther Rd.

Emergency crews are on the scene of a tanker truck accident on the Turner Turnpike near Luther Road Monday morning.

According to authorities, the tanker truck is leaking tar in the eastbound lanes of the turnpike. 

The truck was carrying 85,000 pounds of tar. It is unclear at this time how much has leaked. But Hazmat crews have been called to the respond to the scene. 

The accident is causing delays in the eastbound lanes.
