Former OU point guard Mookie Blaylock pleaded guilty on Monday to vehicular homicide and other charges in relation to a deadly accident that killed a mother of five last year in Atlanta.
Blaylock was sentenced to 15 years in prison, that according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Reports indicate that the 47-year-old Blaylock was suffering from seizures at the time of the May 31, 2013 accident and was told by doctors not to drive.
Blaylock was a first-round pick by the New Jersey Nets in 1989 and played 13 seasons in the NBA, most notably for the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks' all-time leader in made 3-pointers averaged 18 points and 6.3 assists in his two seasons in Norman. His No. 10 jersey is honored by the program.
