Car Crashes Into Gas Meter In Edmond

Emergency crews are responding to reports of a car crashed into a gas meter near Main St. and Boulevard Rd. in Edmond, Wednesday afternoon.

The northbound lanes of Boulevard Rd. are closed while crews work the scene.

Police say two cars were involved in the crash on the northbound side of Boulevard. One of the vehicles veered into the meter, causing a gas leak in the area. 

Workers with Oklahoma Natural Gas (ONG) are also on the scene assessing the situation.

It is unclear how the crash occurred, but no one was seriously injured or if anyone was injured.
