Firefighters Discover Body In Burning Vehicle In SW OKC

Authorities are investigating after firefighters discovered a body inside a burning vehicle early Wednesday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.

According to authorities, just before 6 a.m., firefighters responded to the report of a vehicle fire in the 12200 block of High Meadow Court near S.W. 119th and Western Avenue.

On arrival, police said the firefighters saw an SUV on fire in the driveway of a town home. As firefighters were trying to put out the fire, they found a body in the back of the SUV. The body was not in a seat, officials said.

Authorities have not identified the body at this time.
