Oklahoma City may have missed out on the Pau Gasol sweepstakes, but it addressed its biggest need on Saturday.
According to multiple reports, the Thunder agreed to terms with free agent shooting guard Anthony Morrow on Saturday, a deal that could be worth up to $10 million over three years.
Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman was the first to report the agreement.
Morrow is exactly the type of pure 3-point shooter the Thunder needs to stretch the floor around Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. Morrow is a career 42.8 percent 3-point shooter and shot 45.1 percent from behind the arc last year, fourth-best in the entire NBA.
Morrow is 28 years old and a product of Georgia Tech. He will be entering his seventh NBA season with his sixth team. He spent last season with New Orleans and has also played for Golden State, Brooklyn, Atlanta and Dallas.
