Oklahoma senior forward Cameron Clark is one of 21 players chosen to participate in the 2014 Reese's Division I College All-Star Game, which will be played as part of Final Four Friday this weekend. The announcement was made Tuesday morning by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
The Reese's Division I College All-Star Game, which features strictly senior student-athletes, will be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will begin at 4:30 p.m. CT. Clark is one of 11 members of the West All-Stars and will be coached by Stanford's Johnny Dawkins. Maryland's Mark Turgeon will coach the East All-Stars.
The game will be telecast on a tape delay on Saturday (April 5) at 11 a.m. CT on CBS.
Clark was a third-team All-Big 12 selection this season after averaging career-highs of 15.6 points and 5.5 rebounds a contest. He shot 46.2 percent from the field (ranked eighth in the Big 12), a team-high 43.5 percent from 3-point range and 79.8 percent from the free throw line.
A starter in every game, Clark helped the Sooners to a 23-10 overall record, their best in five seasons. OU finished in second place in the Big 12 Conference with a 12-6 record and earned a No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Clark finished his career ranked 19th on OU's all-time scoring list (1,284 points) and tied for seventh in games played (128). He didn't miss a game in his career.
