Royal Ivey To Sign 10-Day Contract With Thunder

Multiple sources are reporting former Thunder player and current free agent Royal Ivey will sign a 10-day contract with the team, pending a physical.

Ivey averaged 3.2 points with the Sixers last year but hadn't been able to make a roster in 2013-14. He spent two seasons in Oklahoma City and played in 59 games averaging 1.9 points per contest.

The idea looks to be an effort toward shoring up the point guard position until Russell Westbrook is ready to go again. Westbrook hasn't played since Christmas Day.
