Grady County Sheriff Says Body Likely That Of Missing Man

The Grady County sheriff says a body found Sunday afternoon in Tuttle appears to be missing person Christopher Lane.

Lane, 32, was last seen December 7 as he walked down a street near his family's home. Sheriff Jim Weir told News 9 that Lane may have been under the influence, and wandered out into a wooded area.

The nude body was found near Frisco and Richland Roads, about a mile from Lane's home. There were clothes near the body, along with Lane's identification. Sheriff Weir says he believes Lane succumbed to the weather.

The State Medical Examiner is performing an autopsy, and will confirm the person's cause of death and identity.
