Langston Mayor Passes Away

The mayor of the town of Langston, Okla., Dr. Blayne Hinds, died Sunday from natural causes at the age of 68.

A Langston city council member reported the news Sunday evening.

Hinds was elected mayor of Langston in 2007. He also served as the associate vice president for Langston University – OKC.
