With the arrival of the Thanksgiving holiday comes a newer tradition many Americans participate in, and that is Black Friday.

Year after year consumers flock to their favorite stores for a chance at great savings, for themselves or to fulfill something on their loved-ones holiday wish list. And each year it seems that retailers are moving up the arrival of Black Friday, even spilling into Thanksgiving Thursday.

Stores across the OKC are no different, getting a jump on Black Friday. Penn Square Mall opened at 8 p.m. and the shoppers didn't waste time getting out there. It's not just the mall either. Shoppers lined around the building at the Best Buy and Toys R Us near Penn. and Memorial.
