Emergency crews are responding to a reported sinkhole that has opened near NW 2nd St. and N. Villa Ave., in downtown Oklahoma City, Thursday afternoon.
A small red car crashed into the sinkhole, which may have been caused by a water main break in the area.
A wrecker has been called in to help remove the vehicle from the hole. It is unclear if anyone in the car was injured, but EMSA was not on scene.
An exact measurement on the size and depth of the sinkhole is not known at this time.
Crews say that both north and southbound lanes of N. Villa Ave. will be closed indefinitely in the area of the sinkhole.
