Oklahoma City Police need your help finding a baby who went missing from a local hospital.
Police also say the baby may have serious injuries that need medical attention.
Authorities say an ambulance brought a 2-month-old baby boy along with a woman believed to be his mother to Children's Hospital at the OU Medical Center Complex. But now both the baby, the woman and a man believed to be the father have disappeared.
Police gave News 9 a surveillance photo of the two as they arrived here to the Children's Hospital emergency area on Tuesday.
"The child suffered injuries and had been at the hospital a couple of days," said Msgt. Gary Knight with the Oklahoma City Police Department.
But police say they left the hospital Wednesday, before doctors were able to treat the baby, and give the all clear. And they don't know how to reach them.
"A lot of the info given to the hospital by the father has turned out to be erroneous information, bogus information," said Knight.
Police originally responded to the Roadway Inn and Suites near I-40 and Rockwell on Tuesday, to check on the welfare of that baby boy after a woman called 911.
The police report states she said she "laid the baby down on the bed to take a shower" and when she came back to check on him, he was "on his stomach". The report states she claimed "something was wrong" since the baby would not wake up.
The clerk at the hotel says someone did check in at the Roadway Inn and Suites, and requested a block of rooms for their family, but he says the name they used is not the same one they used at the hospital. He says they paid cash, stayed two or three days and have since checked out. Now police hope someone can help them find them before it's too late.
"This isn't a case where we are trying to find these people to put them in jail. This is a case where we are trying to locate this child, and check its welfare to make sure that the child is getting the proper medical treatment it needs," said Knight.
Police say the original name the man gave for the baby here at the hospital was Jacob Dominguez, and that his name was Michael Dominguez. But again police think that may have been false information.
Police say they are looking for a red ford F-150 extended cab pickup truck with a sticker that says BOSS on the back windshield. If you know where this woman and baby are, call 911 immediately.
OU Medical Center released the following statement to News 9 regarding this incident:
