Small Fire Leads To Evacuation At OKC Walmart

The Walmart on Northwest Expressway near Council was evacuated early Wednesday morning when a fire broke out at a fast food restaurant inside the store.

Fire crews were called to the store just before 5:30 a.m. to put out a fire at a McDonald's inside the Walmart. Shoppers and employees were evacuated while firefighters quickly extinguished the flames.

The fire did not cause much damage, but there is some standing water in the store because the sprinklers went off.
