Oklahoma Quarterback Drew Allen To Transfer To Syracuse

Former Oklahoma quarterback Drew Allen is transferring to Syracuse to play for the Orange this season.

Allen will graduate from Oklahoma in May, and will be eligible immediately for Syracuse in the fall because he has one year of eligibility remaining.

Allen was the backup to Landry Jones in 2010 and 2011, but lost the position to Blake Bell last season.

Allen completed 18 passes in three seasons at OU, and chose Syracuse over NC State.
