Anna Prins scored a career-high 32 points and Iowa State advanced to the Big 12 tournament championship game by beating the Oklahoma Sooners 79-60 on Sunday.
The Cyclones (23-7) trailed only once all game. Joanna McFarland's 3-pointer put Oklahoma up 10-7 less than four minutes into the game, but then Brynn Williamson's 3-pointer opened a 17-0 run for the Cyclones.
ISU's Chelsea Poppens had 14 points and 10 rebounds.
McFarland and Morgan Hook had 12 points each for Oklahoma (22-10), which overcome a 22-point second-half deficit Saturday to beat West Virginia. Aaron Ellenberg scored 11 for OU.
Iowa State, which kept a double-digit lead after that 17-point spurt, plays No. 1 Baylor (31-1) on Monday night.
The Sooners (22-10, 11-7) shot just 27.6 percent in the first half and finished 35.5 percent from the field. Meanwhile, ISU shot 46 percent and outrebounded Oklahoma 49-28, the third largest margin the Sooners have surrendered this season. As a result, ISU outscored OU 42-22 in the paint.
The Cyclones (23-7, 12-6) were tournament champs in 2000 and 2001, and lost their last title game appearance to Oklahoma in 2007.
It was OU's fifth consecutive appearance in the Big 12 semifinals, but the third straight loss in the round. OU is 6-3 all-time in Big 12 semifinal games.
