Oklahoma City University dropped Texas Wesleyan 9-1 and Central Baptist (Ark.) 7-6 Friday in the CBC February Meltdown at City of Colleges Park.
The Stars, ranked No. 4 in NAIA softball, got a pair of complete-game performances from senior Elizabeth Oberst to move to 5-2 overall on the young season.
OCU outhit Texas Wesleyan 12-3 en route to a 9-1 victory. Magean De La Torre and Jamie Rateliff each slugged home runs for the Stars.
The Stars took an early lead against sixth-ranked Central Baptist. OCU outhit the Mustangs 11-8 and held on to snag the 7-6 victory.
Oberst earned wins in both games to move to 5-0 on the season.
The Stars will return to action in the final day of the CBC February Meltdown against Williams Baptist (Ark.) at 11 a.m. and Columbia (Mo.) at 1 p.m. Saturday at City of Colleges Park in Conway, Ark.
