Winter Weather Wipes Out MACU Weekend Baseball And Softball Schedule

The winter storm that pushed through the OKC area this week has forced cancellations to this weekend's Mid-America Christian University baseball and softball schedule.

Baseball is no longer playing a doubleheader today against York College and the wet field conditions have now canceled tomorrow's two games at Oklahoma Christian University. The Evangels were scheduled to play OC at noon and then York at 3 p.m. in Edmond. The Evangels will next play Tuesday (Feb. 26) for a home doubleheader with Kansas Wesleyan University at noon.

Tomorrow's softball games with McPherson College have also been postponed with no makeup date announced. The Lady Evangels are next scheduled to play at home Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 26) against Oklahoma Wesleyan University at 1 p.m.
