It appears when Oklahoma decides to clean house, it goes all in.

Just hours after announcing that defensive line coach Jackie Shipp would not be retained for the 2013 season, reports began coming out of Norman that tight ends and offensive tackles coach Bruce Kittle has also been let go.

News 9 sports director Dean Blevins has since confirmed that Kittle has been relieved of his duties, making it the third OU coach to be let go in the past 48 hours.

Kittle has been with the Sooners since 2010 when he served as the on-campus recruiting coordinator. He became the tight ends and tackles for coach for Bob Stoops' staff prior to the 2011 season.

OU also lost offensive line coach James Patton on Monday when he accepted a job with former OU offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson at Indiana. Reports said Patton had been told in advance to look for other jobs because he wasn't a part of OU's future plans.
