Edmond Police Investigate Report Of Sexual Abuse On School Bus

Edmond police are investigating a report of sexual abuse on a school bus.

According to the report, a student from Santa Fe High School claims he or she was forced to perform oral sex while on the bus ride home. The incident happened on December 4, but police took the report on December 11.

A spokesperson for the district says Edmond Public School District officials were not aware of the incident until Thursday morning, but are investigating.

The spokesperson confirms they do have surveillance cameras on their buses, and there was one on the bus in question.

Both police and the district will be making a comment Thursday afternoon.
