More than a dozen people are accused of being part of a major drug ring in Oklahoma County.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the state drug task force unit started investigating this drug ring last year after a confidential informant came forward with tips of who the major players were. Now, those major players and several others are facing major drug trafficking charges.
Seventeen people have been arrested across the state. They are accused of being part of a large drug trafficking ring out of Oklahoma County, and dealing large amounts of marijuana and cocaine.

Ronald Knighton and his wife Nicole Knighton are accused of being a major distributor of the drugs. Court documents reveal many of those drug deals took place at the couple's home near S.E. 44th and Wofford Road.
Though their cars were there, no one was home.
Jamie Garcia and her in-laws live right across the street and say they were friends of the Knightons,
but had no idea drugs were being dealt out of their home.
We showed Garcia the list of all of the people charged. She says none of them were people she knew, besides Knighton and his wife.
But court papers state drug agents intercepted several cell phone calls and text messages between Knighton, and all the people accused in the drug ring while they were making their drug deals
The court papers reveal Del City police were led on a high speed pursuit as they tried to pull over one of these accused drug dealers after one of those intercepted conversations.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in that pursuit.
Most of the people charged in the ring are still behind bars as of Tuesday afternoon.
