The Oklahoma City Thunder remained winless in the preseason after dropping Friday night's contest 97-81 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Utah Jazz won three out of the four quarters, save for a 21-19 advantage for the Thunder in the second. The Jazz were paced by guard Mo Williams who led the team with 15, 10 of which came in the opening quarter.
The Thunder was without Kendrick Perkins, Russell Westbrook, Thabo Sefolosha, Daequan Cook and James Harden on the night. Kevin Durant played 19 minutes, finishing with nine points on 3-of-7 shooting with three assists, two rebounds and a block.
Rookie Perry Jones III led the Thunder with 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting and showed off his range by knocking down two 3's. Serge Ibaka has 12 points and seven boards, Cole Aldrich recorded his second straight double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Reggie Jackson had 10 points and seven boards but committed seven turnovers.
The Jazz outrebounded OKC 53-47 and committed just 15 turnovers to the Thunder's 21. Utah also had a 29-16 advantage in fast break points and a 46-38 lead in points in the paint.
Oklahoma City will play its first game in Chesapeake Energy Arena on Tuesday when it takes on Charlotte at 7 p.m.
