A little rain did not stop dog lovers from taking their four legged friends on a well-deserved walk in a metro park Saturday.
"Peace, Love & Pups" was held Saturday morning at Duffner Park in "The Village."
The walk benefits The Bella Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that helps low-income and elderly pet owners with the cost of caring for their animals.
"We just really try to make the world a better place. And give these dogs, Bella dogs, a better life, and a better shot at life because all too often, dogs are euthanized. That don't need to be," said Cherokee Ballard with the Bella Foundation.

This is the fifth year for the Bella Walk. Booths were also set up to get pets micro-chipped, and vaccinated.
Volunteers also helped set up appointments to get them spayed and neutered.
