Traffic Moving Again On Eastbound I-240 After Two-Vehicle Accident

The eastbound lanes of Interstate 240 at Shields Blvd. were temporarily shut down because of a two-vehicle accident, Wednesday afternoon.

The roadway was closed by Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers just before 4 p.m. while crews worked to clear the area.

Traffic was backed up for about two miles once troopers cleared the scene.

No word yet on any injuries associated with this accident.
