DNA Evidence Leads Investigators To Armed Robbery Suspect

DNA evidence leads investigators to their suspect more than a year-and-a-half after an armed robbery.

On Monday, charges were filed against 21-year-old Ethan Merchant.

Investigators say he left his ball-cap inside a Dollar Tree retail store in Oklahoma City after holding a gun to an employee's head and demanding money from the safe.

Samples taken from the cap triggered a match in the DNA system leading them to Merchant.
