Oklahoma City police say two men broke into a man's home early Thursday morning and cut him with a machete. But it turned out to be a case of mistaken identity, according to police.
It happened at about 2:50 a.m. Thursday, at a house located near N.W. 25th Street and Walker.
Police say the homeowner was asleep when two men armed with a machete broke down his door. The suspects were looking for another person, according to police.
The victim told the suspects he did not know who they were talking about, that's when one suspect cut the victim with a machete.
The victim's injury was not serious, police say.
The suspects took off and are still on the loose. It is unknown if they took anything from the home.
