The Oklahoma State Cowboys split a double-header against the Missouri Tigers, winning the first game 3-2, but dropping the second 4-1, falling to 13-10 on the season.
In the early game, the Cowboys trailed 2-1 heading into the final inning of the game, but managed to overcome thanks to the bat of Mark Ginther. After Jared Womack hit a one-out single, Ginther homered to left center, putting the Cowboys on top 3-2.
Andrew Heaney (5-1) retired three of the next four batters to end the game. The junior lefty pitched a complete-game, giving up two earned runs on seven hits, striking out 12 in the win. Missouri closer Jake Walsh (1-1) blew the save and received a loss for the outing, giving up the two earned runs on two hits.
The second game was dominated by Missouri pitching, with starter Blake Holovach (4-0) pitching 8.2 innings, giving up just one earned run on five hits in the win. Chase Stevens (3-2) struggled early, walking in the first run of the game and getting pulled after just .2 of an inning.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys will try to avoid dropping the series against the Tigers, closing the series at 1 p.m. Sunday.
