A couple of career-high games for Oklahoma State forward Liz Donohoe propelled her to this week's Big 12 Freshman of the Week award.
The honor is the third time this season Donohoe has been honored by the media panel for her play.
Last week against Texas Tech, Donohoe set her career high with 11 rebounds. Later on Saturday, she passed the mark with a game-high 13 boards in OSU's big victory over No. 23 Texas.
Against the Longhorns, she also logged he second career double-double with 13 rebounds and 13 points. Not to mention three assists and two steals in the game.
All-together, the freshman averaged 10 points and 12 rebounds this week for the Cowgirls.
Kansas State's Brittany Chambers received the other Player of the Week award from the Big 12. She averaged 22 points and fiver rebounds in the Wildcats wins over Texas A&M and Kansas.
Oklahoma State returns to the court Wednesday on the road against Baylor at 7 p.m.
