STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys had three players score in double-digits Sunday as the Cowboys dominated the Langston Lions 80-58 at home in Stillwater.
Senior guard Keiton Page led the charge with 20 points, including five from behind the arc, while Markel Brown notched 19 and freshman Michael Cobbins scored 10 in his 26 minutes coming off of the bench.
Oklahoma State started the game off slow, with Langston playing them to a 17-15 advantage nine minutes into the game, but that's when the Cowboys' offense came to life. OSU rattled off seven consecutive points, the first five coming from freshman Le'Bryan Nash, to push its advantage to nine points.
A three-point play from the lions cut the deficit back to six points, but another nine unanswered from the Poke – including four from Page– pushed the lead to 33-18 with just four minutes remaining in the first half.
OSU's lead expanded by just two at halftime, going into the locker room leading 44-27 and cruised in the second half to a victory.
Langston also had three players finish with double-figure scoring totals, Modteets Williams and Landon Gray both contributed 13, while Paul Campbell scored 11.
Oklahoma State will be out of action until 8 p.m. Wednesday, when they will take on the Missouri State Bears on the road.
