STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- After his performance in the 30-29 win over Texas A&M Saturday, Oklahoma State defensive back Brodrick Brown was named the Jim Thorpe defensive back of the week Wednesday.
The junior cornerback turned in eight tackles, one interception and broke up two passes as the Cowboys attempted to shut down the Aggies' offense in the second half. One of his tipped passes turned into an interception by James Thomas on the Aggies' final drive of the game to seal the win.
Brown's win keeps the weekly award in the state of Oklahoma, as the Sooners' Javon Harris was named the winner for Week 3.
