OKLAHOMA CITY – Professional tennis players Mardy Fish and Andy Roddick both will be on hand to take part in the Oklahoma Energy Tennis Classic at the Cox Convention Center on Sept. 25.
Fish and Roddick are the two highest-ranked American tennis players, and both are ranked in the Top 15 in the world. They will be the biggest draws of the Tennis Classic, but will not be all that is offered.
"We actually just learned that we're going to start the night off with a little bit of a Bedlam twist, and I'll just leave it at that," Oklahoma City Event Executive Brad Lund said.
Fish and Roddick will take part in a doubles match after the opening action. Fish will be paired with Tulsa native David Martin, while Roddick will play with his older brother, OU tennis coach John Roddick.
Tickets can be purchased at the Cox Convention Center box office, online at ticketmaster.com or over the phone at 1-800-745-3000.
