OSBI Investigates Bryan County Shooting

Bryan County Sheriff's deputies and agents from the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation are investigating a shooting which sent a Mead man to the hospital Wednesday afternoon.

MEAD, Oklahoma -- Bryan County Sheriff's deputies and agents from the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation are investigating a shooting which sent a Mead man to the hospital Wednesday afternoon.

The OSBI reported that Kevin Metcalf was shot once in the chest and was mediflighted to Plano, Texas, where he is undergoing surgery.

The report stated that a suspect in the case forced Metcalf to leave his home at 5435 Highway 70 West last night.

The OSBI is obtaining a search warrant for the home to collect any evidence which may be at the scene.

The suspect's identity will not be made public until an arrest has been made or he has been charged in the case.
