OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma State has added another talented quarterback to its arsenal as three-star Illinois high school QB Wes Lunt has verbally committed to Oklahoma State, according to Go Pokes.com.
The 6-foot-5, 185 pound quarterback will join the 2012 recruiting class for the Cowboys.
Last season for Rochester High School, Lunt completed 212-of-323 passes for 3,136 yards and 30 touchdowns as he led the Rockets to the Illinois 4A State Championship.
Scout.com ranks Lunt as one of the nation's top 20 quarterbacks in the 2012 class.
Lunt also has offers from Michigan State, Illinois, Louisville SMU, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Western Michigan Wisconsin, Boston College and Cincinnati.
The first day players can sign their national letters of intent is February 1, 2012.
