Driver Injured After Crash On I-40 In Yukon

YUKON, Oklahoma -- The westbound lanes of I-40 at exit 136 in Yukon are now clear after a serious wreck Friday morning.

Around 5:30 a.m. Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers and police received several reports of a man who was bleeding and lying in the roadway.

When authorities arrived, they discovered the man was the driver truck that had been involved in a wreck. Police said the man had swerved to miss another vehicle and ran into a concrete barrier. The man was then able to crawl out of the truck to where police found him.

The man was transported to the hospital in an unknown condition.

A police officer's cruiser was also hit while diverting traffic. No one was injured.
