Man Accused of Molesting 2 Kingfisher County Kids Found in Mexico

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation agents arrested a man who had been on the run for two year and was accused of molesting two young children in Kingfisher County.

Mark Vernon, 44, was arrested at Laredo, Texas near the U.S./Mexican border on Monday morning.

The FBI was notified in October that Vernon may be living in Monterrey, Mexico. When agents were able to positively identify Vernon, he was taken into custody and transported him to the

Vernon was booked into the Web County, Texas, Jail. Authorities said they will now likely transport Vernon back to Kingfisher County over the weekend.
