OKLAHOMA CITY -- More than 200 people who visited the Oklahoma State Fair have walked away with money they didn't know they had.
The Treasurer's Office set up an unclaimed property booth at the fair for the tenth year in a row. State Treasurer Scott Meacham said it's a chance to reunite Oklahomans with $300 million in lost money.
Since the fair opened Sept. 16, the Treasurer's Office has handed out almost $100,000 to more than 200 people. Meacham will work in the booth Wednesday, conducting searches for unclaimed property.
The unclaimed property booth is housed in the Cox Pavilion at the fairgrounds.
