OKLAHOMA CITY – A man has been arrested in connection to a fatal motorcycle wreck that happened earlier this month.
According to police, 21-year-old Pedro Casio was arrested in the Sept. 5 death of 48-year-old Gary Stevens after they collided at S.W. 65th Street and Western Avenue.
Police said Casio was traveling eastbound, crossing Western Avenue, when he failed to yield to Stevens who was traveling northbound on Western Avenue on his motorcycle. Casio fled the scene. Stevens died the next day from injuries sustained in the crash.
Casio was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County jail Sept. 16. He faces charges including leaving the scene of an accident without required notice, causing an accident without a valid SDL, no SDL and failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign.
