SPENCER, Oklahoma – Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man in connection to a shooting that took place this weekend.
According to the sheriff's office, 21-year-old Steven D. Harris was arrested in the shooting of 18-year-old DeMarco Lennox on July 11.
Deputies say four people left Club Starz at about 4 a.m. Sunday in a Nissan Sentra. They told authorities they were at the intersection of N.E. 36th Street and Westminster Road when someone outside the vehicle opened fire, hitting Lennox sitting in the back of the Sentra.
Harris is currently being held in the Oklahoma County Detention Center on one complaint of shooting with intent to kill.
Lennox is on life support, listed in critical condition without any brain activity.
Pending the status of the victim additional charges could be filed in this case.
